4 Jay Is Jay Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Selena Zammit regarding the seemingly disappointing performance. Ms Zammit could offer no explanation she stated the greyhound had trained well and eaten well in the leadup to tonight’s performance. Ms Zammit told stewards the greyhound would be seen by their vet in the upcoming days and would report back to stewards any significant findings. The greyhound was sent for post-race swab. |

8 Where’s Johnson Bumped with another runner on a number of occasions in the home straight. Eased approaching the winning post. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle and was stood down for 10 days. The greyhound was charged under Gar 125 Failure to Pursue with injury and must complete a successful trial prior to nomination. |
