General: After the running of race 8 stewards were made aware of a mechanical issue with the operation of the starting boxes. After considering all the available evidence, Stewards were satisfied there was no material effect on the outcome of the race and gave the all clear. |

1 Farmor Relief A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Cecil Druery, the trainer of Farmor Relief regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment, Farmor Relief was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Albion and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted. |
