Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MDNPW 395m

4 Stitched Up Joe- Was extremely slow to begin and took no competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities. Stewards determined that Stitched Up Joe had turned in the boxes and ordered that the greyhound must complete a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 106(1), pursuant to GAR 132.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 395m

5 Stylish Pick- Severely checked in the back straight. Checked entering the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities.  

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (1) 395m

4 Wallaby Bob- Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106(2)(a).

Race 4 - TAB - VENUE MODE NOVICE (2) 395m

1 Howdy Rose- Severely checked in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside pin and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days.

6 Bundy Herrera- Severely checked in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities.  

8 Navada Neveah- Severely checked entering the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities.  

Race 5 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 (1) 395m

1 Ivy Pearl- Weakened in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside back muscle and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

Race 6 - SKY RACING MIXED 4/5 395m

No significant racing incidents.

Race 7 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE BEST 8 395m

No significant racing incidents.

Race 8 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 395m

No significant racing incidents.

Race 9 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB GRADE 5 (2) 395m

No significant racing incidents.

Race 10 - BRISGREYS.COM GRADE 5 (3) 395m

No significant racing incidents.

Stewards delayed the all clear in order to review the replay footage after it was observed that there were birds in the back straight during the event. Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound’s chances were materially prejudiced and all clear was given on the judge’s placings.  

6 Flying Cruise- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request which revealed no significant findings.
