Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520m |

2 Howdy Hope- Shifted out checking the runner to its outside when racing through the turn into the home straight. Stewards spoke to the trainer’s representative, Mr W Piesker regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event. After hearing the steward’s observations and reviewing the video replay, stewards deemed that Howdy Hope did contact the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Howdy Hope was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

3 Witty Wendy- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings. |

Race 3 - REXEL HANDICAP GRADE 5 (2) 520m |

4 Kilara Chloe- Turned its head inwards towards another runner in the home straight. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr J Northfield regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event. After hearing the steward’s observations and reviewing the video replay, stewards deemed that Kilara Chloe did contact the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Kilara Chloe was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
7 Blaze Duck- Severely checked through the turn into the back straight causing the greyhound to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any significant findings. |

7 Obliging Warren- Severely checked entering the turn out of the back straight causing the greyhound to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any findings.
8 Hello Cyndie- Checked entering the back straight and commenced to weaken. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside back muscle and was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days. Stewards further ordered that Hello Cyndie must complete a satisfactory trial before returning to racing.

After hearing the steward’s observations and reviewing the video replay, stewards deemed that Golden Bear did contact the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Golden Bear was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
