Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN 2 395m

1 Maywyn Levi Checked at the end of back straight. Became unbalanced and appeared to sustain a serious injury and took no further competitive part in the event.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the nearside metacarpal and was stood down 90 days.  The greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial prior to nomination.

2 Sirius Angus Checked at the end of the back straight and lost ground.

5 Lady Bella Checked at the end of the back straight and lost ground.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 395m

No Significant racing incidents

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 2 395m

7 Somerset Bluey Checked shortly after the start, stumbled and lost considerable ground.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near hock and was stood down for 90 days The greyhound must complete a satisfactory solo trial prior to nomination.

Race 7 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE GRADE 5 3 520m

1 Gold Sequani Fell in the catching pen at the conclusion of the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Open Jewel Stewards spoke to trainers representative David Eisel with regard to no catcher being present after the event.  Mr Eisel told stewards to had organised a fellow participant to catch the greyhound but they had failed to perform their duty.  After considering the circumstances and Mr Eisel’s excellent record a formal reprimand was issued under Gar 99.

3 Tommy Air Checked at the first turn and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 8 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 395m

Race 9 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB GRADE 5 (3) 2 395m

1 Kimberley Kent Checked in the back straight and lost ground.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to offside hip support and was stood down for 7 days

1 Kingston Jazzy Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an off hip injury and was stood down for 7 days
