Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 520m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 2 520m

1 End Of Story – Turned its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Ms J Cutlack regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and hearing the submissions from Ms Cutlack stewards deemed End Of Story had taken its attention away from the lure and therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule, End Of Story was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

Race 5 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 1 710m

1 Walk Me Daddy – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

7 Rippin’ Grace – Commenced to give ground rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off hind leg and was subsequently stood down for 90 days. Further the greyhound will be required to complete a trial prior to returning to racing.

Race 6 - SKY RACING MIXED 4/5 2 600m

1 Circle The Sky – Slow to begin. Tailed the field for the majority of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side groin and was subsequently stood down for 14 days.

Race 7 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 2 520m

3 My King – Eased and turned its head outwards towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers representative Mrs K Tribe regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mrs Tribe, stewards deemed that My King had taken its attention away from the lure and therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule My King was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

4 Fanciful – Eased, turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with another runner on multiple occasions in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers representative A Donnelly regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and considering the trainers’ representative’s submissions, stewards deemed that Fanciful did make muzzle contact with the greyhound to its outside and therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Fanciful was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 Blue Raptor – Severely hampered by multiple runners in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

8 Locked On Scotch – Eased and turned its head outwards towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the off side Achillies and was subsequently stood down for 14 days. Stewards spoke to trainer J Catton regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Locked On Scotch must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 8 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 2 520m

Race 9 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 2 520m

3 Claretown Mikey – Checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

4 Royal Warren – Severely checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 10 - BRISGREYS.COM 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 2 520m

6 Daysea’s Elvis – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 11 - TWITTER @ BRISGREYS MA5 (1) 1 520m

3 Big Town Hero – Severely checked in the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side leg and was subsequently stood down for 90 days. Further, the greyhound will be required to complete a trial prior to returning to racing.
