Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN 2 520m

9. Scorching Demon – Through the first turn checked around heels and then takes an awkward stride. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a near-fore foot laceration and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 520m

6. Autumn Storm – Beaten Favourite. Entering the first turn was checked. Entering the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a tail injury and was stood down from racing for 3 days.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 1 520m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 4 - TAB - VENUE MODE GRADE 5 (1) 2 600m

6. Reggie Quinn – Entering the home straight on the first occasion was checked and then fell. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a near foreleg injury and was humanely euthanised.

Race 5 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 (2) 2 600m

Race 5 was declared a no race due to a fallen runner running back into the field and Stewards ordered the lure to be pulled up. Stewards acting under the provision or GAR 110 declared the event a No Race.

2. Fast Money – Entering the first turn was checked and then fell. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside bicep injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

Race 6 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 1 710m

7. Ten Pars – Entering the home straight on the final occasion turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside tibia injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Eric Raeburn regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 14 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 7 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MIXED 4/5 2 520m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 8 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 520m

7. Churchill Hayze – Entering the first turn was checked. Along the home straight on the final occasion turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. Approaching the winning post on final occasion made head contact with the outside runner. Steward’s spoke to trainer Sandra Hunt regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (2^nd offence) – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 9 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB NMW (1) 2 520m

3. Humble Hornet – Approaching the first turn was checked. Exiting the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 10 - TAB ORIGIN GREYHOUNDS THIS THURSDAY NMW (2) 2 520m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 11 - TWITTER @ BRISGREYS MA5 (1) 1 520m

7, Jimary Indiana – Stewards spoke to trainer Malcolm Ross regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Ross stated he was disappointed with the run however stated the greyhound didn’t begin as well as expected and the box draw wasn’t preferable. Stewards noted the explanation.

Race 12 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MA5 (2) 1 520m

7. Jimary Willow – Entering the first turn lost ground appearing injured and then checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside back muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial prior to racing next.
