2. Palawa King – Beaten $1.5 favourite, slow to begin, checked off heels leaving the home straight on the first occasion. Leaving the back straight was tightened and held up for clear running, rounding the home turn was checked. |

7. Canya Amy – Rounding the home turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion to its offside wrist, no stand down time was issued. |
