Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520m

 

Howdy Cyndie – Severely checked in the back straight. Marred by another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Chuck A Party – Slow to begin.  Checked approaching the turn leaving the back straight, shortly after turned its head outwards towards another runner and eased. In the home straight turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers’ representative J Hosking regarding the greyhounds racing manners leaving the back straight and, in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Chuck A Party was charged with marring. As this was greyhound’s 1st offence the greyhound was suspended for twenty-eight (28) days at Albion Park only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY FFA 710m

 

Amendola – Tighten and contacted the rail after the finish line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side wrist abrasion and was stood down for seven (7) days.

 

Lena Jinx – Performed below market expectations. A post-race veterinary examination revealed near side elbow and was stood down for ten (10) days

 

Race 3 - MICK BYRNE MEMORIAL (L) FINAL NOV/M 520m

 

Hara’s Zorro – Shifted in a hit the running rail rounding the home turn.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 4 - CARNIVAL MASTERS (L) FINAL MA5 520m

 

No reportable incidents

 

Race 5 - JAMIE MARSH CONSOLATION FINAL OPEN 520m

 

Get Carter – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer, which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 6 - QUEENSLAND CUP (G1) FINAL OPEN 710m

 

One Hot Bandit – Rounding the home turn, turned its head inwards and eased. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury and was stood down for ten (10) days. Stewards spoke to Trainer M Sultana regarding the greyhound’s racing manners rounding the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) (greyhound) was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. As this was One Hot Bandit 1st offence the greyhound was suspended for twenty-eight (28) days at Albion Park only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

Sanisha – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury and was stood down for sixty (60) days and must perform a Satisfactory Trial, before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

Race 7 - ELITE MACHINE CONSOLATION FINAL OPEN 520m

 

No reportable incidents

 

Race 8 - BRISBANE CUP (G1) FINAL OPEN 520m

 

Explicit – Performed below market expectation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainers’ representative T Brett could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance.

 

Race 9 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE FFA 600m

 

Pursuer – Severely checked in the turn into the back straight. Checked leaving the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

Icey Eyes – Severely checked in the turn into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

Race 10 – TAB MIXED 4/5 520m

 

Nangar Nellie – Faulted entering the back straight. Trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind leg injury and was stood down for ninety (90) days and must perform a Satisfactory Trial, before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

Race 11 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 520m

 

Willow’s Gift – Severely checked on the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

Race 12 - SENNACHIE AT STUD - STEVE WHITE MA5 520m
