Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520m

1. Looks Good – Into the first turn was checked, leaving the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MA5 (1) 520m

1. Disaster Piece – In the home straight shifted out marring the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative Tony Broadrick regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Broadrick, stewards deemed Disaster Piece did make muzzle contact with the runner to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Disaster Piece was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

Race 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY FFA 710m

No racing incidents of concern.

2. Mepunga Loaf – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hip. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 4 - TAB MIXED 3/4 520m

7. Ablett Hayze – Into the first turn was checked, leaving the first turn faltered in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside calf. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 5 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m

6. Travis’s Scrub – Into the first turn was checked. . A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 6 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 520m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 7 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 520m

1. I’m Old School – Through the back turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 8 - SKY RACING 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 600m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 9 - TWITTER @ BRISGREYS FFA 600m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 10 - SEN TRACK BEST 8 520m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 11 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 520m

7. Double Up Bill – Through the back turn, rounding the home turn and in the home straight marred the runner to its outside on several occasions. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative Warren Elson regarding the greyhound’s actions at those stages of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Elson, stewards deemed Double Up Bill did make muzzle contact with the runner to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Double Up Bill was suspended from racing at all tracks for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

No racing incidents of concern.
