Race 1 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MAIDEN 2 520m

1. Enduring Spirit – Into the first turn checked across heels, a short distance later was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside shoulder. A ten down stand down was imposed.

3. Miraculum – Through the first turn turned its head outwards towards the runner to its outside, a post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Jayson Valentine regarding the greyhound’s racing manners for that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Valentine, stewards deemed Miraculum had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Miraculum was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

7. Reacher – Into the first turn collided with another runner falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 520m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NMW (1) 2 520m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 4 - TAB - VENUE MODE NMW (2) 2 520m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 5 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE GRADE 5 1 710m

7. Portman’s Lass – Approaching the first turn was checked, Through the first turn put in an awkward stride, failed to finish the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hock. A 90 down stand down was imposed. Trainer’s representative T Nicholls was advised the greyhound must successfully complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 6 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (1) 2 600m

1. Gabby’s Gyros – Into the first turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its back muscle. A 28 down stand down was imposed.

Race 7 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE GRADE 5 (2) 2 600m

3. Cash Cloud – Near the finish was checked between runners.

Race 8 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 520m

5. Daysea’s Rory – Began very awkwardly missing the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB NMW (3) 2 520m

2. Zipping Boost – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its back muscle. A 21 down stand down was imposed.

6. Taffer – Into the first turn was severely checked almost falling. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 10 - BRISGREYS.COM MA5 2 520m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 11 - TWITTER @ BRISGREYS GRADE 5 3 395m

1. Swift Mike – Into the first turn was tightened making contact with the running rail. Into the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
