1 I’m Refined – Checked on the first turn, checked entering the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
8 Blue Collusion – Turned it head inwards making contact with another runner entering the home straight as a result was severely checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion on the near side of the greyhounds back under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Bradley Belford regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
