Race 1 - TAB - VENUE MODE MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 331m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 2 - FABREGAS @ METICULOUS LODGE NOVICE (1) 331m

4. Hunk Of Spunk – Was slow to begin. Entering the back turn commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Greg Paull regarding the performance of the greyhound. Mr Paull stated the greyhound prefers the outside of the track and was disappointed with the performance. Stewards noted this explanation and will monitor the performance of the greyhound moving forward.

Race 3 - SKY RACING NOVICE (2) 331m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 4 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE GRADE 5 (1) 331m

6. Slimy Trout – Entering the first turn was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

8. Mr. Maximus – Entering the back turn was checked and then dragged down. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an off-foreleg injury and was stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial prior to racing next.

Race 5 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD MIXED 4/5 331m

1. Summer’s Shark – Beaten favourite. Entering the back straight was tightened and checked.

4. Swift Lionel – Entering the back straight was tightened and checked. Entering the back turn commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside flexor tendon injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

Race 6 - SENNACHIE @ STUD - STEVE WHITE GRADE 4 331m

3. Cincinnati Hope – Late scratching at 4:19pm due to weight variation GAR 101(1). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, C Elson was fined $100 acting under GAR 101(3)(b)

Race 7 - TWITTER @ BRISGREYS BEST 8 331m

3. Play In Reign – Entering the back straight was tightened, checked and then stumbled. Approaching the winning post turned its heads inwards and made muzzle contact with the inside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Anthony Bunney regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4. Cyndie’s Swift – Through the back turn was checked and then fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an off-foreleg spike wound and was stood down from racing for 21 days.

Race 8 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 331m

3. Cyclone Indi – After the conclusion of the event was severely checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 9 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE GRADE 5 (2) 331m

5. Sirius Coco – Approaching the back turn was checked. Entering the back turn was dragged down and then shortly after was dragged down again. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

7. Misty Moon – Entering the back turn was checked, dragged down and then fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside shoulder injury and was stood down from racing for 14 days.
