Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 2 395m

Race 3 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE NOVICE 2 395m

7 Howdy Bill- Checked racing through the first turn. Forced another runner wider on the track entering the turn out of the back straight. Stewards spoke to trainer representative Mr W Peisker regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event. After hearing the steward’s observation and reviewing the video replay, stewards deemed that Howdy Bill had breached GAR 123 Marring. Howdy Bill was suspended from racing for 3 months and until the completion of (2) satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

8 Mystical Girl- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities.

Race 4 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY NPW 2 395m

1 Commander Sarge- Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the offside pin muscle and was stood down for a period of 14 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr M Edwards, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight when it turned its head inwards towards another runner. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Commander Sarge must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 5 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (1) 3 520m

Race 6 - BRISGREYS.COM GRADE 5 (2) 3 520m

2 Sirmione- Late scratching at 1.39pm due to the greyhound not being presented in the required kennelling time of GAR 86(1). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation, the trainer Mr R Patching enter a plea of guilty to a charge under GAR76(7) and was fined $200. A 10 day stand down period was imposed for Sirmione.

3 Easy As That- Severely checked entering the first turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal nay abnormalities.

6 Sin Rap Flyer- Eased and turned its head approaching the finish line. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request which revealed an injury to the nearside hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Mrs Lynette Keep regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event. After reviewing the video replay and hearing the submissions from Mrs Lynette Keep, stewards deemed Sin Rap Flyer had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. Sin Rap Flyer was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

Race 7 - RHINO FINANCE MIXED 3/4 2 395

6 Comical Warren- Late scratching at 1.26pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the veterinary official found the greyhound to have an injury to the offside tibia during kennelling. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 8 - SEN TRACK 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 2 395m

4 Go Pedro- Checked shortly after the start. Checked entering the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which did not reveal any abnormalities.  

Race 9 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 2 395m

8 Brimstone- Checked on multiple occasions through the first turn and commenced to weaken in the back straight trailing the field. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days. Stewards further ordered that Brimstone must complete a satisfactory trial before returning to racing.  

Race 10 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 2 395m
