2 Monkey Pants – Turned its head towards the inside runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to nearside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. Stewards spoke to trainer S.Thomas regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to pursue by reason of injury – 7 days stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
7 Bundy Herrera – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

1 Jonty’s Golden – Turned its head towards the outside runners forcing them wide entering the first turn. Severely checked the outside runners through the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer N.Murdoch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to Pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Albion Park and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
7 Ringbark Range – Forced wide entering the first turn. Severely checked and fell through the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offhind limb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
