6 Indi Pace Car- Late scratching at 5.42pm due to the greyhound not being presented in the required kennelling time of GAR 86(1). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation, the trainer Mr C Riordon enter a plea of guilty to a charge under GAR76(7) and was fined $200. A 10 day stand down period was imposed for Indi Pace Car. |

1 Hara’s Larry- Checked entering the first turn. Commenced to weaken entering the turn off the back straight and trailed the field. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative Mr T Neale regarding the greyhound’s performance. After reviewing the video replay and hearing the submissions from Mr Neale, stewards deemed Hara’s Larry had failed to pursue the lure with due commitment therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. Hara’s Larry was suspended from racing for 28 days at Albion Park and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial. |
