Race 1 - TAB - VENUE MODE NOVICE 520m

2. Lucky Llama – In the home marred the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer Tony Apap regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and hearing the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Lucky Llama did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Lucky Llama was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

6. White Noise – Near the finish momentarily turned its head inwards and visibly eased. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer B McCarthy regarding the greyhound’s racing manners over the concluding stages. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment, White Noise was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

2. Gone Walkabout - Near the finish turned its in abruptly and visibly eased. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainers representative J Cutlack regarding the greyhound’s racing manners over the concluding stages. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment, Gone Walkabout was suspended from racing at Albion Park for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

5. Obliging Bill – Into the 1^st turn shifted in making contact with the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

1. Hara’s Salty – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7. Comical Cyndie – Into the 1^st turn was checked, in the back straight checked off heels, through the back turn was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hind toe. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
