Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 2 395m

5 Serious You Are – Checked off heels rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off-hind toe and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

Race 2 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 2 395m

Race 3 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE NOVICE 2 395m

Race 4 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MA5 (1) 2 395m

1 Obliging Travis – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels approaching the home turn and lost ground.

6 Leaping Lucille – Late scratching at 1:04 pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the veterinary official found the greyhound to have injury to its near hindleg during kennelling. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 5 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (1) 2 395m

4 Cosmos Beauty – Checked off heels rounding the first turn. Weakened in its action in the back straight finishing the race in last place. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Belford regarding the greyhound’s seemingly disappointing performance. Mr Belford advised that his runner was having its first run in seven months and would derive benefit from today’s race. Mr Belford further stated that Cosmos Beauty races best when on the pace and didn’t jump as well as expected today. Mr Belford will report back any abnormalities with his runner to Stewards over the upcoming days should any arise. Stewards noted the explanation.

Race 7 - RHINO FINANCE GRADE 5 3 520m

10 Big Suba – Severely checked rounding the first turn losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 8 - SEN TRACK 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 2 395m

3 Whiskey Power – Stewards were comfortably satisfied that the greyhound is no longer hard to box and therefore lifted the embargo that was previously placed on Whiskey Power.

Race 9 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB GRADE 5 (2) 2 395m
