2 Any Art – Near the finish marred the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer R Ayres regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay stewards deemed that Any Art did make head contact with the greyhound to its outside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Any Art was suspended from racing at all tracks for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

6 Nicole Maria – Through the 1st turn was checked, entering the back straight faltered in its action failing to finish the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury its offside hock. A 90 day stand down was imposed. Trainer D Sloan was advised the greyhound must successfully complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
