2 Romantic Red – Beaten favourite. Slow to begin, checked off heels entering the first turn on the first occasion. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer representative T.Britton regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Britton stated the greyhound has only had 2 starts in Queensland and is still relatively inexperienced. He was not disappointed with the greyhound’s performance and believed he ran home well. Stewards noted the explanation. |
