4 Deadly Avenger – Into the 1st turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

|
The all clear was delayed to allow stewards to ascertain whether any runners were affected by a flock of birds on the track leaving the 1st turn. After reviewing the race vision, stewards were satisfied no runners were materially affected and subsequently the all clear was given on the judges semaphored numbers.

1 Mr Springtime – Shortly after the start collided with another runner as a result appeared injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside back muscle. A 60 day stand down was imposed. Trainer’s representative C Jackson was advised the greyhound must successfully complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
