3 Take A Breath – Into the back turn was checked a short distance later was galloped on. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

8 Federal Recall – Into the back turn improved onto heels being severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

No racing incidents of concern.

5 Daysea’s Elvis – Shortly after the start appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed to its stomach muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

1 Waikarie Misty – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a laceration to its offside foreleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

 

 

 

Race 10 - RHINO FINANCE 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 2 395m

 

3 Winged Wonder – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106(2)(a).

 

 

 

Race 11 – BROTHERS RUGBY UNION CLUB 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 2 395m

 

No racing incidents of concern.

 

 

 

Race 12 - BORGBET TIPPING SERVICE MA5 2 395m

 

6 Bye Bye Raider – Into the 1st turn was tightened between runners falling a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

8 Private Number – In the back straight commenced to weaken appearing injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed to its nearside fore flexor tendon. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer R Ayres was advised the greyhound must successfully complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next.
