5 Corresponding – (Beaten favourite) Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the finishing line. Shortly after the event, in the catching pen, the greyhound displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS) and under the provisions of GAR42(3)(b) the greyhound has been stood down for 90 days. Corresponding must pass a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted. |

6 Jilliby Rocks – Took several awkward strides rounding the first turn losing ground. Bumped heavily with another runner at the top of the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside wrist and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
7 Farmor Standards – Showed signs of aggression in the catching pen after the race had concluded. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Lisa Druery and advised her that the greyhound will now require 2 x catches for future race starts.
