3 Say Shazam – Clipped heels and fell approaching the first turn, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip support and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
5 Tote Deor – Turned its head inwards in the direction to the runner on its inside for several strides in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr Craig Jackson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. After hearing Mr Jackson’s submissions and reviewing the race footage, Stewards invoked GAR124(1) Failing to Pursue (1st offence) and stood down Tote Deor for 28 days at Albion Park plus a satisfactory trial. |

2 Betty Rose – Clipped heels and fell rounding the first turn, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Hilltop Prince – Shifted in abruptly in the back straight making head and muzzle contact with another runner. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Andy Graham regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the back straight. After hearing Mr Graham’s submissions and reviewing the race footage, Stewards invoked GAR123 Marring (2nd offence) and stood down Hilltop Prince for 28 days at all tracks plus a satisfactory trial. |
