Race 1 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MAIDEN 2 395m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 2 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 2 395m

6 Howdy Bill – Shortly after the start was checked. Through the home straight gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside wrist. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing 21 days.

Race 3 - LADBROKES PUNTER ASSIST GRADE 5 (1) 2 395m

8 Royal Billy – Shortly after the start was checked. Through the back straight gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hindleg back muscle injury. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days.

Race 7 - LADBROKES RACING CLUB GRADE 4 2 395m

Race 8 - GORSKI TIPPERS GRADE 5 3 520m

7 Weblec Spark – Entering the first turn was checked off heels and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

Race was declared a no race due to a runner falling and turning back into the field. In the opinion of the stewards this had materially affected the result and therefore acting under the provisions of GAR 110 declared the event a No Race.

Race 9 - CARINA LEAGUES CLUB BEST 8 2 395m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 10 - ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB MA5 (1) 2 395m

5 Sirmione – Through the home turn turned and made head contact with the runner to its outside. Steward’s spoke to trainer R Patching regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (2^nd offence) – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 11 - TIGGERLONG TONK @ STUD MA5 (2) 2 395m

4 Rondinella – Shortly after the start was checked. Through the home straight gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Stewards spoke to trainer R Patching regarding the greyhound’s performance. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.
