8 Meg’s Maid – Through the home turn turned its head toward the outside runner and made muzzle contact. Steward’s spoke to trainer R Purtle regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (2nd offence) – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
