·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 2 - LADBROKES BLACK BOOK FFA 710m

 

4. Maid In Space – Slow to Begin. Checked off the heels on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

6. Mepunga Loaf - Stewards spoke with Mr Britain regarding this scratching and he advised that the greyhound is going for scans tomorrow and stewards have asked to be updated on outcome of scans. And stewards further ordered a veterinary clearance certificate be supplied before any further nominations will be accepted.

 

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 600m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 4 - SKY RACING 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m

 

3. Where’s My Car – Checked off heels on the second turn and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

4. Daysea’s Tim – Took an awkward stride and gave ground soon after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside back muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 60 days.

 

Race 5 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MA5 (1) 520m

Race 6 - BRISGREYS.COM MA5 (2) 520m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 7 - LADBROKES RACING CLUB 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 520m

Race 8 - GORSKI SEMI TIPPERS MIXED 3/4 520m

 

3. Daysea’s Rowdy – Tightened approaching the first turn. Checked and knocked off balance and gave ground entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside hip and offside pin muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

 

Race 9 - PACERS AND CHASERS BISTRO 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 520m

 

7. Brother Jimmy – Severely checked, lost footing and fell heavily and took no further part in the race approaching the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 10 - ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 520m

 

1. Scale Up Time – Checked soon after the start. Took an awkward stride and gave ground on the first turn. taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside leg injury & nearside toe injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing next. .
