TRIALS

Stewards Trial 1 – 460m

The greyhound COMFORT THE BULL performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 460m in a time of 27.56 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.

RACE REPORTS

1.

CENTURY 21 REAL ESTATE MAIDEN 460M CHRIS ARMAGH stayed in the boxes momentarily and was last away. At the first corner SEA LEGS checked off the back of RUSTY ARMOUR then come back onto LORIAN EXPRESS who ran over it, causing both greyhounds to fall. Both greyhounds completed the race. HIGH LEE BLUE and RUSTY ARMOUR raced tight down the back straight. OUR PURSUIT raced wide down the home straight, HIGH LEE BLUE raced very wide down the home straight. SEA LEGS was vetted and found to have not sustained any injury. LORIAN EXPRESS was vetted and found to have not sustained any injury.

2.	SHARP BUSINESS EQUIPMENT MAIDEN 460M WATCH ME WIGGLE, HARBOUR ROCKET and POMPI BETRO all raced very tight after the jump. SHILAS MARLOW and POMPI BETRO raced tight at the first corner. WATCH ME WIGGLE and SWEET SASSAFRAS raced tight, for the lead, down the back straight. DDYS CHANT went slightly wide at the home corner.

3.	BUNDABERG STOCK FEEDS NOVICE 460M First away was BILLS FLASH. MYSTIC RAIN and BELLA SPRITE raced tight approaching the first corner. ROCKETS ANGEL, SISSEY LE HEY and BELLA SPRITE raced tight through the first corner with ROCKETS ANGEL squeezed and checked with BELLA SPRITE. PURE LEE CRUISY checked off the back of BILLS FLASH approaching the back corner. SISSY LE HEY and MYSTIC KAHN raced wide at the home corner. SISSEY LE HEY raced wide down the home straight.

4.	EAST END HOTEL 5^th GRADE HEAT 1 460M An even start. MOET GIRL, KURO LOU, KIALLA, SPRING CHOICE and PINTO FLASH al raced tight at the first corner. KEWIN UP raced wide at the first corner. PINTO FLASH raced wide down the back straight. KEWIN UP went very wide at the back corner and appeared confused. KEWIN UP also went wide at the home corner. KEWIN UP was vetted at the completion of the race and found to have a neck strain 14 days.

ELITE STATE KENNELS 5^th GRADE HEAT 2 460M First away was ROADIE. STIRLING BLUE and AYE SIMPLE MYTH raced tight approaching the first corner. BOGART BLEND, ROADIE, ROMANA PRINCESS and MARIO RACER all raced tight through the first corner. AYE SIMPLE MYTH checked off the back of SMASHING FASHION and SMASHING FAHION ran onto MARIO RACER dragging it back through the field, racing down the back straight. DELICATE HARRY raced wide at the back corner. MARIO RACER was vetted and found to have no injury. AYE SIMPLE MYTH was vetted and found to have no injury.

6.	OUTBACK PET MEATS 5^th GRADE HEAT 3 460M Last away MIGHTY AWESOME. ROMELDA raced wide through the first corner. COS SHE CAN checked off the back of GEORGIA running past the catching pen. COS SHE CAN and ROMELDA raced wide down the back straight and at the back corner.

7.	DES ALLEN & CO 5^th GRADE HEAT 4 460M First out was SUMMAHS KNIGHT. Last away was KIKEM SPRINGER. At the first corner ALL FUELED UP and TOTATEE KAHN raced tight and wide and continued like this past the catching pen. STARS ALIGN and KIKEM SPRINGER raced wide into the home corner and home straight. ALL FUELED UP raced extremely wide at the home corner and almost fell as a result. ALL FUELED UP was vetted after the race and found to have no injury.

8.	UNCLE RUSTY’S PHOTOS 4^th GRADE 460M First away was SPRING FIRECHIEF. Last out was RAMBO ROCK. The entire field raced tight at the first corner with MADE TO DANCE and LA MYRA RAPIDE getting checked and losing ground. HAVOC AND MAYHEM and MR REALITY raced wide down the back straight. RAMBO ROCK raced wide at the home corner and down the home straight.
