TRIALS

Stewards Trial 1 – 460m

The greyhound JADE PRINCESS performed a satisfactory Blinker trial over the distance of 460m in a time of 27.88 and is now cleared to race with both off side and near side blinkers.

 

 

 

RACE REPORTS

 

1.

HOWARD BUTCHERY MAIDEN 460M

Best away, cambla drummer and werina flash; missing the start was Notre cambla and shilas Marlow.  Field clear after jump.  Out of the catching pen turn he no beat and shilas Marlow slowed off the main group and finished a long way back.  After the race shilas Marlow and he no beat were sent to the vet.

THE CLUB HOTEL MAIDEN 460M

Best away was nedgodale, remainder of field was even.  Field was tight around turn one.  Out of the 550m corner and onto the finish straight nedgodale was wide.

BUNDABERG STOCK FEEDS NOVICE 460M

Even start, clear after the jump and the first turn. In the back straight KINKY CAMBLA was high and also ran wide out of the 550m turn and down the finish straight.

FOOTES FAMILY CXHEMIST CHILDERS 5th GRADE 460M

stewards delayed the all clear to allow them the opportunity to view the replay of the start, to determine if any greyhound was not afforded a fair start. After viewing the official replay Stewards decided it was a fair start and awarded the all clear.  Best out spring crusher and bill’s flash and last out was poker card and smashing fashion, at the first turn wildash pebbles and spring crusher were tight and checked slightly causing wildash pebbles to lose ground, nothing wide around the home turn,

READING CINEMAS 5th GRADE 460M

Best out beetown Bella last away, Paris lights and good boy Seamus. Around the first turn good boy Seamus and Stirling blue were tight. Past 720m boxes beetown Bella slowed and dropped off the lead group. After the race beetown Bella was sent to the vet,

JAMBERRY NAILS 4/5th GRADE 460M

Best away was Kyoto Kahn. Around the home turn and onto the finish straight, Hardaway holly and spring firechief ran wide.

LINDSAY MCCARTHY’S USED CARS & THE CHOP SHOP 550M

Even start, clear racing. At the home turn diamond robyne ran wide, just before finish line don’t weaken appeared to stumble and slowed and was sent to vet.

BUNDY BOWL AND LEISURE 4/5th GRADE 550M

Field jumped evenly last out was blizzard blitz, after the 720m boxes bet you will was on high side of track. Around the home turn and onto the finish straight our challenge ran wide.
