CABELLO MUCHO MAIDEN – 460M Even
start with MY KID CAMBLA marginally slow. MY KID CAMBLA was tight for racing
room entering the first turn and as a result fell hampering the running of
DIESEL SOOT. All greyhounds race wide entering and down the home straight. A
Veterinary examination of MY KID CAMBLA was conducted after the race finding
muscle strain to LH thigh muscle a 10 Day stand down period was imposed. |

YEAR MARIE RICHARDS NOVICE – 460M WANT SOME CAKE was best away with Lucky Leckey last out.
LUCKY LECKEY check off heals of ESCAPE GIRL and fell severely hampering the
running of BLITZEN LEE. A

was best away. Shortly after the start all greyhounds raced tight for running
room. GO THE SPOILS raced wide entering the home straight. |

TREVOR HALTER 5TH
GRADE (2) – 460M CAMBLA WAFFLE
was best away with SISCO RASCAL last out. WALLOON WIZARD and WILBY AWESOME
checked shortly after the start WALLOON WIZARD lost ground and tailed off
from the field. SISCO RASCAL was slow from the start and tailed off from the
field. A Veterinary
examination of SISCO RASCAL was conducted after the race finding a strain to
vertebrae joints, 10 day stand down was imposed. A Veterinary
examination of WALLOON WIZARD was conducted after the race finding chronic
muscle strain to the RF carpal and a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards
spoke to trainer Chris Gear regarding the performance of his runner SISCO
RASCAL and have placed an unsatisfactory performance on the greyhound as per
rule 71.1 with penalty of 28 days suspension and must complete a satisfactory
steward’s trial before it is eligible to nominate again. |
