MAIDEN (1) – 460M GALLON
OF CAMBLA was best away. Approaching the first turn Spin city and Cambla
Cruiser collided. Exiting the first turn spin city checked off heels of NAUGHTY CAMBLA. GALLON OF
CAMBLA raced wide down the home straight. |

TERRY SIGNS MAIDEN
(2) – 460M Even Start. All greyhounds excluding WICKED TAY raced
tight into the first turn and checked to varying degrees. Exiting the first
turn CRAZY CAMBLA checked with RANGATIRA CAMBLA causing RANGATIRA CAMBLA and
WICKED TAY to lose ground. DIZZY CAMBLA and CRAZY CAMBLA checked exiting the
second turn causing both dogs to race wide. A post-race veterinary examination of RANGATARI CAMBLA
was conducted, No Injury found. A post-race veterinary examination of DIZZY CAMBLA was
conducted, No Injury found. |

EAST END HOTEL NOVICE
– 460M RIPPIN’
BARTEL was slow to begin. IMA TIPPA TOO raced wide into the first turn.
Exiting the second turn and down the home straight CHARLIE BEAR and BRANDY
CAMBLA checked on several occasions. Stewards
spoke with Trainer Marie Richards regarding the running of CHARLIE BEAR down
the home straight. The greyhound was charged acting under Rule 69 (1) Marring
and has been suspended for a period of 28 days and will need to complete a
satisfactory stewards trial before it is eligible to nominate again. |

GRADE (1) - 460M Stewards note
that the lure was in a starting position greater than the normal however
stewards believe this did not affect any greyhounds running in this event. FORGOT MY
MOUSE was best to begin. Soon after the start MURRA SHEHA fell. DOTTIES IMAGE
raced wide exiting and down the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination of MURRA SHEHA was
conducted finding RF RH LH sub lumbar strains, the greyhound was stood down
for a period of 10 days. |

THE
CHOP SHOP 5TH GRADE (2) - 460M SHE’S CRANKY was best to begin with
SHE’S INYA FACE marginally slow. Through the first turn SHE’S CRANKY and
SWEET ELLA ROSE checked. Exiting the first turn PETER PERFECT faulted and
lost ground. Through the second turn SHE’S INYA FACE checked off heels of
SHAKEY RANDLE and was pushed wide. A post-race veterinary examination of PETER PERFECT was
conducted finding the greyhound to have tight LH and RH hamstrings and was
stood down for a period of 7 days. |

LINDSAY MCCARTHY
MIXED 4/5 – 460M Even Start. Field raced tight into the first turn.
Through the first turn SHARP AZZ EL shifted wide and checked with PURE LEE
CRUISY, as a result FOXY FIREBALL and LARNACH LASS were severely hampered
causing both greyhounds to fall. SHARP AZZ EL raced wide down the home
straight. A post-race veterinary examination of FOXY FIREBALL was
conducted, No injury found. A post-race veterinary examination of LARNACH LASS was
conducted, No Injury found. |

TROPHY 4/5TH GRADE FINAL – 460M HURRICANE HANSI was best to begin. The field raced
tight into the first turn excluding HURRICAN HANSI. CAMBLA LALA and WINGMAN
HUTCH checked in the first turn and pushed wide. FANTASIA LEE checked off
heels of CAMBLA LALA exiting the first turn. |

Through the first turn DODGY CREDIT checked off heels of SPARKLING ANGEL

the home straight. |
