Race Reports
Race 1 – Great northern maiden 460m
Cambla banjo best away, field was tight through the first turn. Leading into the second turn Kiewa rebel checked the back of cambla yap yap and belli ultra, following the collision Kiewa rebel moved wide lost its footing and fell heavily on the finishing straight, and was sent to the vet following the race.
Race 2 – prime real estate novice 460m
Last away was fire fly Jake. Through the first turn fire fly Jake lost footing and moved wide and checked canny dancer. Along the back straight pawticipation and fire fly Jake were wide, with pawticipation slowing and fire fly Jake collided with pawticipation causing both dogs to fall, through the turn the remaining field bunched and along the finishing straight dizzy cambla moved wide. Due to the incident earlier pawticipation and fire fly Jake were vetted and stewards ordered the race to finish on lure.
Race 3 – ray Edward real estate 0-4 wins 550m
Even start, through the second turn richmer assassin marred the running of gallon of cambla and continued to mar with the dog down the entire finishing straight. Both dogs were vetted. Electronic timer failed to arm and no time taken.
Race 4 – clm accountants Hervey bay 0-4 wins 550m
Initially was a false start, after the vet checked all dogs the race was re started. Following the restart the lure got too far in front of the field in the back straight and the dogs lost sight of the lure and slowed and was subsequently put under inquiry and declared a no race by stewards
Race 5 – sunfam MA5 460m
Elly bye bye best away and madam shacoby missed the jump. Field tight through the first turn. Exiting the first turn and along the back straight smooth Jake slowed and lost the group and was visibly injured and sent to the vet after the race.
Race 6 – realway property consultants grade 5 460m
Fire fly smurf was last away, entering the first turn haras hornet and Glendenning were tight. Through the turn blitzing Betty checked with Glendenning and blitzing Betty lost stride.
Race 7 – Terrys signs grade 5 460m
Whinging wilko jumped very well but fire fly Rodger missed the jump. Through the turn fire fly Rodger moved wide and stumbled and immediately lost ground and was obviously injured. Along the finish straight whinging wilko was wide, fire fly Rodger was vetted.
Race 8 – uncle rusty’s photos Christmas trophy final open 460m
An even start and immediately after the jump and through the first turn the field was tight, clear for remainder of race.
Race 9 – gsl lawyers Hervey bay mixed 3/4 460m
Wilby awesome was last away, clear after the jump and first turn. Exiting the second turn and along the finish straight fashion flirt and allegro Dottie moved wide.
