Race Reports
Race 1 – GREAT NORTHERN MAIDEN 460M Best away was cambla yap yap, but along the back straight appeared to tire and slowed losing the lead, nothing wide around the home turn or finish straight.
Race 2 – PRIME REAL ESTATE NOVICE 460M Richmer assault jumped well, nikolucky and drives me crazy missed the start, as the field entered the second turn the entire field bunched.
Race 3 – RAY EDWARD REAL ESTATE NOVICE 460M Pawticipation missed the start. Through the first turn lightning flash, dodging bullets and cambla banjo were tight for racing room. Along the back straight pawticipation lost pace and slowed considerably. Exiting the home turn and along the finish straight dodging bullets appeared to be running with a strange gait. After the race both pawticipation and dodging bullets were sent to the vet.
Pawticipation was found lame with a RH tarsal fracture and stood down for 28 days Dodging bullets was also found lame with a RF carpal fracture and stood down for 28 days
Race 4 – C.L.M. ACCOUNTANTS HERVEY BAY 5TH GRADE 460M Windy girl best away, fire fly Jake last out. Entering the first turn miss Emmy and sweet pearl raced tight and checked. Through the turn windy girl moved in to the rail and checked with miss Emmy, then zabdon Veyron checked the back of sweet pearl and caused sweet pearl to fall heavily. Along the back straight and for the remainder of the race miss Emmy and cambla cruiser ran mid track.
After a veterinary inspection sweet pearl had suffered a neck strain and was stood down for 10 days
Race 5 – UNCLE RUST’S PHOTOS MIXED 4TH/5TH 460M Fire fly smurf was slow to begin, through turn one hurricane hansi and nanny’s Charlie checked, and along the finish straight nanny’s Charlie moved wide.
Race 6 – REALWAY PROPERTY CONSULTANTS 5TH GRADE 550M After the jump madam cambla, diamond robyne & lagoon scarlet checked. Entering the first turn lagoon scarlet and diamond robyne were wide.
Race 7 – BARGARA BAKERY & CAFÉ AUSTRALIA DAY CUP 4TH/5TH GRADE FINAL 460M First away was Mr. Apollo and glen cambla, the entire field was tight entering the first turn. Exiting the home turn and along the finish straight stilton Ali was extremely wide.
Race 8 – TERRY’S SIGNS 5TH GRADE 460M Sox the fox & shooting through won the start, fire fly Rodger missed the jump. Through the first turn Dottie’s image and fire fly Rodger were tight.
