Race Reports

 

Race 1 – GREAT NORTHERN MAIDEN 460M

Wildash dolly jumped well, rest of the field were an even start. Entering the first turn our cambla boy checked off the heels of wildash dolly, exiting the home turn the wind buffeted several of the dogs wide of the ideal line.

 

Race 2 – PRIME REAL ESTATE NOVICE 460M

Missing the start was drives me crazy, through the first turn the entire field tightened. Exiting the home turn sweet cambla moved wide.

 

Race 3 – RAY EDWARD REAL ESTATE MA5 460M

Wilby awesome slow to start, entering the first turn whinging wilko and sweet pearl checked. Exiting the home turn and onto the finish straight the wind buffeted the entire field forcing all dogs wide.

 

After the race stewards spoke with Natasha Ogden regarding the boxing of the greyhound nikolucky.

 

Seward’s also spoke with starter Trotter regarding safe and proper boxing procedures and ensuring it is clear to give the starting signal.

 

Race 4 – C.L.M. ACCOUNTANTS HERVEY BAY 5TH GRADE 460M

Best away was richmer assuault and last out was belli blue. Entering the first turn most of the field was tight and checked to varying degrees. Through the first turn fire fly rodger checked the back of madam cambla causing both dogs to move wide and firefly rodger to stumble and almost fall. Along the back straight madam cambla moved wide and passed group to take the lead.

 

 

Race 5 – UNCLE RUSTY’S PHOTOS 5TH GRADE 460M

Spring ruby best away and both fire fly smurf and macquire were slow out of the boxes. After the jump sox the fox and rangatira cambla checked. Midway along the back straight star of cambla checked off the heels of sox the fox. And exiting the home turn sox the fox was wide.

 

Race 6 – BIZ PRINT BUNDABERG OAKS HEAT 1 550M

Even start, entering the first turn madam shacoby checked the back of crazy cambla. Exiting the second turn the field tightened.

 

Race 7 – BIZ PRINT BUNDABERG OAKS HEAT 2 550M

Best away was lallybroch and katherines money& dizzy cambla missed the jump. After the start sassy oaks, lallybroch & jetyra buckskin were tight and checked to varying degrees while jostling for position. Entering the first turn fashion flirt & lallybroch checked and lagoon scarlett was wide.

 

Race 8 – ALLEN KELLY BUNDABERG DERBY FINAL 550M

After the jump lord cerine started to move across to the rail and checked the back of brandy cambla. Entering the first turn strait rum moved wide and checked with one for mick, brandy cambla & lorde cerine forcing all dogs wide and lorde cerine almost colliding with the outside fence. Along the back straight brandy cambla and lorde cerine were running on the high side of the track.

 

Race 9 – BARGARA BAKERY & CAFÉ MIXED 3/4TH GRADE 460M

Through the first turn the entire field was tight, and exiting the second turn glen cambla was wide.
