Race 1 GREAT NORTHERN MAIDEN GRADE 460 M
Entering the back straight LONGSHOT LARRY checked of heels and was hampered. In the back straight WILDASH DOLLY was tightened for racing room and lost ground. WILDASH DOLLY raced wild around in the turn into the front straight.
Race 2 – PRIME REAL ESTATE NOVICE GRADE 460 M
NIKOLUCKY and LIGHTNING FLASH were slow to begin. Through the first turn SWEET CAMBLA was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the back straight HARA’S HUSTLE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Shortly after HARA’S HUSTLE and LIGHTNING FLASH collide resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. SWEET CAMBLA and LIGHTNING FLASH race wide rounding the turn the front straight.
Race 3 – RAY EDWARD REAL ESTATE M5 GRADE 460 M
WILBY AWESOME was slow to begin. Entering the back straight WHINGING WILKO was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the back straight GEORGIA CAN DO was tightened for racing room and lost ground.
Race 4 – C.L.M ACCOUNTANTS HERVEY BAY 5 GRADE 460 M
FIRE FLY JAKE was slow to begin. Through the first turn BETTA BE BUNDY and ZABDON VEYRON collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. In the back straight FIRE FLY JAKE and MACQUIRE were tightened for racing room and lost ground.
Race 5 – UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS 5 GRADE 460 M
Through the first turn LAGOON SCARLETT and FIRE FLY RODGER collided resulting in FIRE FLY RODGER to be checked and lose ground and LAGOON SCARLETT to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. CAMBLA FLASH commenced to give ground in the back straight.
CAMBLA FLASH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury with a neck strain and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
LAGOON SCARLETT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a left hind muscle strain and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 6 – BARGARA BAKERY & CAFÉ 5 GRADE 460 M
FIRE FLY SMURF was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SHE’S CRANKY and BLUE JILLEM collide resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Shortly after MADAM CAMBLA, SOX THE FOX and WILD CONNECTION raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Entering the back straight DIZZY CAMBLA was tightened for racing room and lost ground.
Race 7 – ADOPT A GREYHOUND 4 /5 GRADE 460 M
Through the first turn DODGY CREDIT and SHOOTING THROUGH collide. Rounding the turn into the back straight Elly BYE BYE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Windy GIRL which was trailing was checked and lost ground as a consequence. DODGY CREDIT raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 8 – BIZ PRINT Bundaberg Oaks Bun 550 F OPEN 550 M
LALLYBROCH shifted out shortly after start which tightened the racing room of SASSY OAKS and ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE. Leaving the front straight TINKIE’S MY MUM was tightened for racing room checked and lost ground. ROUGH ODDS, ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE and WICKED TAY which were all trailing were checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Race 9 – TERRY'S SIGNS BT8 GRADE 460 M
Rounding the turn into the back straight LORDE CERINE, FLAMENCO GIRL and DYNA RAZE collided, resulting in LORDE CERINE and DYNA RAZE to be checked and lose ground and FLAMENCO GIRL to be severely checked and lose considerable ground.
FLAMENCO GIRL - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
