Race 1 – GREAT NORTHERN | MAIDEN | 460M
Pepe la pom slow to begin. Field was tight through first turn. Richmer attack was sent for a post-race veterinary examination and no injuries were discovered. Race 2 – PRIME REAL ESTATE | NOVICE | 460M Field tight after the jump Through first turn longshot Larry checked heels of kiewa rebel Longshot Larry fell heavily, and after undergoing a post-race veterinary examination was found to have suffered bruising and no time penalty was given. Race 3 – RAY EDWARD REAL ESTATE | MA5 | 460M After the jump Mamma’s boy and Magical music checked. Entering first turn She’s inya face moved towards rail and checked right hind of sweet pearl. Exiting the home turn Go the spoils was wide. Race 4 – C.L.M. ACCOUNTANTS HERVEY BAY MIXED | 2/3 GRADE | 460M Around the first turn tinkie’s my mum checked Katherine’s money. Race 5 – UNCLE RUSTY’S PHOTOS | 5TH GRADE | 460M Entire field tight through the first turn. Race 6 – ADOPT A GREYHOUND | 5TH GRADE | 460M After the jump hara’s hornet tight with richmer assassin. Around the first turn hara’s hornet checked macquire. Through the home turn and long the finishing straight Richmer Assassin marred the running of Cambla Banjo. After reviewing the race video stewards found richmer assassin guilty of marring, R69 (2)(b) 2nd offence, 3 month suspension and complete a satisfactory trial. Race 7 – RAY EDWARD REAL ESTATE MIXED | 4/5 GRADE | 460M Firefly Jake missed the start. Entering the first turn field was tight. Exiting first turn kiss the groom checked heels of sandshoe. Kiss the groom lost considerable ground and was vetted after the race and was found to have suffered bruising, no time penalty was given. Race 8 – TERRY’S SIGNS MIXED | 4/5 GRADE | 550M After the jump cicada checked hara’s hook. Immediately after Cicada started to lose ground and drop back through the field. Along the start straight cicada checked with rough odds. Around the first turn cicada checked with wicked Tay. Following the race cicada underwent a post-race veterinary examination and had suffered a laceration and given 10 days.
