Race 2 – CRAFT RENTAL & HARDWARE NOVICE 460m 1 Swift Pash Checked at the first turn. 2 White Swirl Slow to begin. Severely checked in the home straight 3 Winsome Ethan Checked at the first turn. Appeared to sustain an injury approaching the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering from a near hind Achilles tendon injury and stood down for 42 days. 5 Tully Checked at the first turn. Shifted out abruptly in the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering from a near hind split webbing and stood down for 21 days. 6 Nimble Nanook Checked at the end of back straight. 7 Clever Kali Severely checked at the start of the back straight 8 Pink Sands Checked at the first turn. Turn its head outwards and made muzzle contact with the greyhound on its outside in the home straight. The greyhound was charged under rule 69 marring 1st offence and stood down for 28 days and a satisfactory trial.
