Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 460m 1 Blue Emperor –checked through the first turn. Checked when it contacted another runners heels rounding the turn into the back straight. Checked leaving the back straight. 2 Meadowcroft –checked entering the back straight. 5 Cambla Samba Kid – checked leaving the back straight. 8 Rose Girl – had its heels contacted and checked rounding the turn into the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no obvious injuries.
Race 2 – GREAT NORTHERN NOVICE (1) 460m 1 Medicine Woman – collided with another runner and checked rounding the turn into the front straight. Collided with another runner in the front straight. 8 Takura Tornado - collided with another runner and checked rounding the turn into the front straight. Collided with another runner in the front straight.
Race 3 – TERRY SIGNS NOVICE (2) 460m 1 Boydtown Bandit – collided with another runner shortly after the start. 2 Cool Talk - collided with another runner shortly after the start. 4 We Love Roxy –checked through the first turn. 5 Cambla Gold - checked through the first turn. 7 Tullabung Missy –checked rounding the turn into the front straight. Checked in the front straight. 8 Ollie's Lad - Checked in the front straight.
Race 4 – EAST END HOTEL MA5 (1) 460m 1 Diesel Magic - checked through the first turn. 4 White Swirl - checked through the first turn. Hampered entering the front straight. 5 Counter Fire - checked through the first turn. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its off side shoulder and was stood down from racing for 5 days.
Race 5 – UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS GRADE 5 (1) 460m 1 Swift Gear – reweigh, previous weight was 29.1 weighed in at 30.8. Checked through the first turn. 2 Larkin Po - checked through the first turn. Checked leaving the back straight. 4 Fizz Out - collided with another runner shortly after the start. 5 Tully - collided with another runner shortly after the start. Checked through the first turn. Raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. 7 Cut The Talk - checked through the first turn. 8 Fancy Moon - checked leaving the back straight. Raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight.
Race 6 – ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION MIXED 4/5 460m 6 Savuro – turned its head and marred another runner in the front straight. Charged under Rule 69 Marring 2nd offence and was stood down from racing at all tracks for 3 months and must complete 1 satisfactory trial before returning to racing. 8 Sparky Lass – severely checked in the front straight when marred by another runner.
Race 7 – ACE FABRICATIONS AUSTRALIA DAY CUP BEST 8 460m 1 Sheza Dryva - checked through the first turn. Gave ground over the concluding stages. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. Stood down from racing under Rule 71 for an unsatisfactory performance and must complete 1 satisfactory trial before returning to racing. 2 Dyna Raze – checked leaving the back straight. 3 Big Bad Bob - checked through the first turn. 4 Miss Emmy - checked through the first turn. 5 Prince Duggie - checked through the first turn. 6 Fire Fly Jake – slow to begin. Checked through the first turn. 7 Cambla Lala - checked through the first turn. 8 Richmer Assault - checked through the first turn.
Race 8 – BARGARA BAKERY CAFÉ GRADE 5 (2) 460m 4 Belli Ultra – checked entering the back straight. 6 Deep Emotion – raced wide in the front staright.
Race 9 – CRAFT RENTAL & HARDWARE MA5 (2) 460m 1 Double Oak – checked entering the back straight. 3 Wicked Tay – checked and fell rounding the turn into the back straight. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed injured both shoulders and was stood down from racing for 5 days. 6 Ninetymile Donny – reweigh, previous weight 34.1, weighed in at 32.4. Checked entering the back straight. Gave ground over the concluding stages to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed no injuries. Stood down from racing under Rule 71 for an unsatisfactory performance and must complete 1 satisfactory trial before returning to racing.
