Race 1 - TAB BUNDABERG MAIDEN 1000 FINAL MAIDEN 460m 1 Louisiana Flyer – Checked on multiple occasions entering the front straight. 4 Jiggle No Wiggle – Slow to begin. Shifted out checked with another runner on multiple occasions entering the front straight. 6 Silver Spike – Checked leaving the first turn. 8. No Salad - Significantly checked leaving the first turn and took no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an off hind tarsal fracture and was stood down from racing for a period of 56 days.
Race 2 – TERRY SIGNS NOVICE 460m 1 Swift Eyes - Marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels entering the first turn. 2 Nanny's Girl – Tightened for racing room and severely checked off heels approaching the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a neck strain and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. 4 We Love Roxy – Raced wide down the back straight. Inconvenienced by another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight. 6 Samira – Checked leaving the first turn. 8 Boydtown Bandit – Best to begin.
Race 3 – EAST END HOTEL GRADE 5 (1) 460m 1 Hara's Slade – Severely inconvenienced by another runner entering the front straight and took no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed shoulder bruising and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. 2 Vigilante – Shifted out sharply entering the front straight and marred the running of another runner. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a neck and shoulder strain and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. Subsequently was charged under GAR69 Marring 1st offence and was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial before resuming racing. 4 Soda Caesar – Slow to begin. Checked off heels entering the turn out of the back straight. 5 Swift Gear – Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn. Inconvenienced by another runner entering the front straight. 7 Master Card - Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn. 8 Nanny's Charlie - Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn. Checked leaving the first turn.
Race 4 – CRAFT RENTAL & HARDWARE MA5 460m 1 Rope A Dope – Checked off heels entering the turn out of the back straight. 2 Poppatop – Checked leaving the first turn. Hampered then checked leaving the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a sublumbar strain and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. 3 Blackpool Blast – Inconvenienced by another runner that was trailing, entering the turn out of the back straight. 4 Cambla Cruiser – Checked off heels and fell leaving the first turn, taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a neck and shoulder strain and was stood down from racing for a period of 14 days. 6 Branwell Lee – Checked leaving the first turn. 8 Captain's Knock – Marginally slow to begin.
Race 5 – ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION GRADE 5 (2) 460m 3 Angry Angus – Tightened for racing room then severely checked entering the first turn. 4 Golden Devil – Bumped on a number of occasions entering the first turn Significantly checked leaving the first turn. 6 Blue Ain't Black – Severely checked entering the first turn. 7 Purdi Villa – Best to begin. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight.
Race 6 – BARGARA BAKERY CAFE MIXED 4/5 460m 1 Muchachos – Checked off heels entering the first turn. 2 Sparky Lass – Hampered entering the back straight. 3 Ava Surprise – Best to begin. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight. 6 Ollie's Lad – Checked leaving the first turn. 8 Pact – Checked leaving the first turn.
Race 7 – CHIP TYRE RECYCLERS GRADE 5 550m 2 Fernando Tears – Best to begin. 3 Counter Fire – Checked off heels entering the turn out of the back straight. Severely inconvenienced by another runner approaching the turn into the front straight. 4 Fabian Feast – Marginally slow to begin. Deviated outwards towards another runner entering the turn into the front straight and made muzzle contact with that runner. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a near toe fracture and off toe dislocation and was stood down from racing for a period of 42 days. Also was subsequently charged under GAR69 Marring 2nd offence and was stood down from racing for a period of 3 months and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial to resume racing. 6 Royal Reward – Severely checked entering the first turn. Deviated outwards towards another runner entering the turn into the front straight and made muzzle contact with that runner. Subsequently was charged under rule GAR69 Marring 1st offence and was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial to resume racing. 7 Hara's Dazza – Severely checked entering the first turn.
Race 8 – UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS BUNDABERG SPRINT FINAL OPEN 460m 1 Miss Emmy – Checked on multiple occasions approaching and entering the first turn. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight. 2 Richmer Attack – Tightened for racing room and checked entering the first turn. 4 Swift Pash - Checked on multiple occasions approaching and entering the first turn. 5 Rebel Spike – Checked leaving the first turn. 7 Waltzing Danube – Best to begin and shifted inwards immediately after the start. 8 Dolcetto Hayze – Significantly checked entering the first turn. Hampered then checked approaching the turn into the back straight.
