Other Comments / Explanations: Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races
Race 1 - TERRY SIGNS MAIDEN 460m 2 Cambla Samba Kid – Bumped with other runners entering the first turn. Checked on a number of occasions entering the turn out of the back straight. 3 Severine – Hampered entering the first turn. 4 Savannah Sun – Bumped with other runners entering the first turn. Checked leaving the first turn. 6 She's Available – Raced tight and bumped with another runner on a number of occasions over the concluding stages of the race. 7 Tune – Checked entering the first turn. Raced tight and bumped with another runner on a number of occasions over the concluding stages of the event. 8 Lana Herrera – Checked entering the turn out of the back straight. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight and remained wide for the remainder of the event. 9 Urana Raspberry – Best to begin. Bumped with other runners entering the first turn. Checked leaving the first turn.
Race 2 – BARGARA BAKERY CAFE NOVICE 460m 1 Magnolia Wind – Shifted outwards and collided into other runners shortly after the start. 2 Paddle Tails – Inconvenienced by another runner shortly after the start and lost considerable ground. Checked off heels in the back straight and lost substantial ground. Raced tight and checked with another runner on multiple occasions through the turn out of the back straight and lost further ground. 3 Suvari – Checked on a number of occasions approaching the first turn. Checked off heels and lost substantial ground leaving the turn into the back straight. Raced tight and checked with another runner on multiple occasions through the turn out of the back straight and lost further ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near wrist and was stood down from racing for a period of 5 days. 4 Lumen Gem – Checked approaching the first turn. 5 Nanny's Girl – Hampered approaching the first turn. 6 Beltline – Checked entering the first turn. Raced tight and bumped with another runner entering the back straight. Hampered entering the turn into the front straight. 7 Our Cambla Boy – Raced tight and bumped with another runner on a number of occasions entering the first turn. Raced tight and bumped with another runner entering the back straight. 8 Cambla Gold – Raced tight and bumped with another runner on a number of occasions entering the first turn. Hampered and checked off the rear of another runner approaching the turn into the front straight.
Race 3 – CHIP TYRE RECYCLERS MIXED 4/5 550m 2 Purdi Villa – Best to begin. Checked off heels approaching the turn out of the back straight and lost considerable ground. 6 Fizz Out – Raced very wide over the concluding stages of the race. 8 Prince Cosmic – Raced wide through the turn out of the back straight and remained wide for the remainder of the event.
Race 4 – UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 460m 1 Hostile Intent – Checked and lost considerable ground entering the first turn. Checked off heels and lost considerable ground in the back straight. 2 Roman Siren – Tightened for room and checked entering the first turn. Checked entering the turn into the back straight. 5 Larkin Po – Hampered then bumped with another runner entering the first turn. 7 Factional – Checked entering the turn into the back straight. 8 Louisiana Flyer – Checked entering the turn into the back straight and lost ground.
Race 5 – EAST END HOTEL 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 460m 2 Tully – Checked entering the first turn. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight. 4 King Taka – Tightened for room and checked entering the first turn. 5 Prince Duggie – Best to begin. 7 Nanny's Charlie – Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn and lost substantial ground. Began to yield ground shortly after and took no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a sub lumbar muscle strain and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. 8 Fernando Tears – Checked on a number of occasions through the first turn and lost considerable ground.
Race 6 – ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 460m 2 Andrew's Shadow – Best to begin. 3 Kingsbrae Sasha – Marginally slow to begin. 6 Medicine Woman – Checked off heels approaching the turn out of the back straight. 7 Belli Ultra – Checked approaching the turn into the front straight. 8 Samira – Hampered then bumped with another runner leaving the first turn.
Race 7 – CRAFT RENTAL MA5 460m 1 Diesel Magic – Marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels and lost considerable ground entering the back straight. Tightened for room and stumbled entering the turn out of the back straight and began yield ground immediately afterwards. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the near wrist and was stood down from racing for a period of 10 days. 3 No Mediocre - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination in regards to some vomit found within the greyhounds swab kennel which revealed no abnormalities. 4 Road Scholar – Checked entering the first turn. 5 Sunburnt Road – Checked entering the first turn. 6 Zambora Pride – Heels were contacted by another runner entering the back straight and lost momentum. Raced tight and bumped with another runner approaching the finish. 7 Counter Fire – Checked off heels leaving the turn out of the back straight. Hampered entering the front straight. Raced tight and bumped with another runner approaching the finish. 8 Rippin' Bartel – Marginally slow to begin. Checked off heels and lost considerable ground entering the back straight.
Race 8 – TAB MIXED 3/4 460m 3 Glen Cambla – Checked leaving the first turn. 4 Isn't She Just – Raced tight and bumped with another runner on multiple occasions approaching and entering the first turn. Stumbled then shortened stride entering the turn out of the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a severe rupture of the back and triangle muscles and was humanely euthanised in regards to the immediate welfare of the greyhound. 5 Courtois – Raced tight and bumped with another runner on multiple occasions approaching and entering the first turn. Checked and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight. 6 Fly Mariposa – Checked leaving the first turn. Contacted from behind by another runner in the back straight and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities. 8 Kiewa Rebel – Hampered and lost ground leaving the first turn. Checked off heels and lost ground in the back straight.
