General:

Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races

Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 460m

1 Urana Raspberry – Inconvenienced by another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.

2 Lana Herrera – Checked leaving the turn out of the back straight.

3 Sansovino – Checked approaching the first turn. Collided into the rear of another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.

4 Blue Emperor – Checked on multiple occasions approaching and entering the first turn and lost considerable ground. Raced very wide through the turn into the front straight.

5 Expat Mohawk – Checked on multiple occasions approaching and entering the first turn and lost considerable ground. Checked off heels entering the turn out of the back straight and lost further ground.

6 She's Available – Checked approaching the first turn.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Stephen Bland in regards to the significant improvement of the greyhound’s best time in winning today’s event. Mr Bland stated that he had been purposely reducing the greyhound’s racing weight, which he felt had contributed to the greyhound’s improved showing of late. Mr Bland further stated that extra exercise throughout the week was proving beneficial.

8 Deal's Up – Very slow to begin. Hampered in the back straight. Shifted out and checked into another runner leaving the turn out the back straight, losing momentum as a result.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr John Watts in regards to the greyhound’s running action when leaving the turn out of the back straight. After viewing all available evidence, stewards decided not to issue a charge on this occasion and the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt.

Race 2 - BARGARA BAKERY CAFE NOVICE 460m

1 Dr. Outlander – Raced wide approaching the turn into the front straight.

2 Savannah Sun – Checked leaving the first turn.

3 Expat Monza – Shifted out entering the front straight and checked into another runner.

4 Cambla Samba Kid – Checked entering the first turn. Checked off heels in the back straight and lost considerable ground. Checked approaching the turn out of the back straight.

5 Our Cambla Boy – Best to begin. Checked entering the front straight.

6 Paddle Tails – Checked off heels leaving the turn into the back straight. Checked off heels approaching the turn out of the back straight and lost ground.

7 Naughty Streak – Checked entering the first turn. Hampered on a number of occasions leaving the first turn.

8 Hillside Fear – Checked from behind in the back straight and lost ground. Checked off heels then was inconvenienced by another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight and lost substantial ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off wrist and was stood down from racing for a period of 5 days.

Race 3 - CHIP TYRE RECYCLERS MIXED 4/5 550m

1 Naturally Gifted – Hampered leaving the first turn. Collided with another runner entering the front straight.

4 Cool Talk – Raced wide through the first turn.

5 Macdowell – Checked and lost ground entering the front straight.

Race 4 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS GRADE 5 (1) 460m

2 Nanny's Girl – Tightened for room and stumbled entering the turn out of the back straight.

4 Purdi Villa – Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn. Checked off heels entering the turn into the back straight.

6 Magnolia Wind – Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn. Checked off heels entering the first turn. Raced tight and bumped with another runner entering the turn into the front straight.

7 Beltline – Checked and lost ground entering the first turn.

8 Jiggle No Wiggle - Raced tight and bumped with another runner entering the turn into the front straight.

Race 5 - TERRY SIGNS MA5 460m

1 Wicked Tay – Tightened for room entering the first turn.

2 Rippin' Bartel – Marginally slow to begin. Checked and lost considerable ground entering the first turn.

4 Master Card – Hampered entering the first turn.

5 Road Scholar – Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the off pin and was stood down from racing for a period of 5 days.

6 Doreas – Checked entering the first turn.

Race 6 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION GRADE 5 (2) 460m

1 Daniel's Loss – Raced tight and bumped with another runner on multiple occasions approaching and entering the first turn. Checked off heels entering the turn into the back straight. Checked entering the front straight.

2 Cut The Talk – Hampered leaving the first turn.

3 Velocity Jacinta – Raced tight and bumped with another runner on multiple occasions approaching and entering the first turn. Checked and stumbled awkwardly entering the front straight and lost substantial ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

6 Big Boss Bree – Checked and lost ground entering the first turn. Checked entering the back straight.

8 Deep Emotion – Raced very wide through the turn into the front straight and continued wide for the remainder of the race.

Race 7 - EAST END HOTEL MIXED 4/5 460m

1 Louisiana Flyer – Hampered entering the front straight.

2 Dancing Ebby – Bumped with another runner leaving the first turn.

3 Jimary Havana – Checked leaving the first turn. Stumbled and began to drop out of the event in the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an Achilles tendon tear and was stood down from racing for a period of 42 days.

4 Cambla Cruiser – Tightened for room and checked on multiple occasions leaving the first turn and lost ground.

5 Dark Zorro – Raced tight and bumped with another runner entering the first turn. Checked entering the turn into the front straight.

6 Fizz Out – Checked entering the first turn and lost ground. Raced very wide through the turn into the front straight and continued wide for the remainder of the race.

7 Flying Jet – Marginally slow to begin. Checked with another runner on multiple occasions entering the first turn.

9 Kingsbrae Sasha– Raced tight and bumped with another runner entering the first turn.

Race 8 - CRAFT RENTAL MIXED 2/3 460m

1 Larkin Po – Marginally slow to begin. Raced tight and bumped with another runner just prior to the finish.

2 Shakey Diesel – Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn. Raced tight and bumped with another runner just prior to the finish.

3 Courtois - Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn. Checked off heels and lost ground leaving the first turn.

5 Pact – Marginally slow to begin.

6 Tinkie's My Mum – Checked entering the first turn. Checked off heels leaving the first turn and lost ground. Hampered entering the back straight.

7 Kiewa Rebel – Hampered entering the first turn.
