General:

Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races

Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 460m

1 Double Digit – Bumped with another runner entering the front straight.

3 Slick Mac – Marginally slow to begin. Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn. Checked and lost ground entering the front straight.

5 Elite Stride – Tightened for room, checked and lost considerable ground leaving the first turn.

6 Lana Herrera – Raced extremely wide through the turn into the front straight and deviated its attention from the lure whilst doing so. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a neck strain injury. Subsequently was charged under GAR69B (Failure to pursue by reason of injury) and was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial before resuming racing.

7 Black Draft – Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn. Checked off heels entering the back straight. Collided into another runner and lost ground entering the front straight.

8 Expat Mohawk – Checked off heels and lost ground entering the first turn. Checked on multiple occasions entering the front straight and lost significant ground.

Race 2 - CHIP TYRE RECYCLERS NOVICE 460m

2 Paddle Tails – Hampered leaving the first turn. Checked approaching the turn out of the back straight. Checked on a number of occasions approaching the turn into the front straight. Deviated its attention from the lure, towards another runner and made muzzle contact with that runner on a number of occasions, whilst entering the front straight. Subsequently was charged under GAR69A (Marring 1^st Offence) and was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial before resuming racing. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a neck strain injury which incurred a veterinary stand down period of 14 days.  

3 She's Available – Checked leaving the first turn. Severely inconvenienced by another runner when entering the front straight and lost severe ground as a result.

4 Dinkydi Whispers – Best to begin.

5 Wicked Collision – Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn and lost ground. Checked approaching the turn into the front straight.

7 Naughty Streak – Checked entering the first turn and lost ground.

9(1) Expat Monza – Checked leaving the first turn.

Race 3 - TERRY SIGNS MIXED 3/4 460m

2 Courtois – Very slow to begin.

4 Macdowell – Checked leaving the first turn and lost ground.

5 Ollie's Lad – Checked leaving the first turn and lost ground. Checked approaching the turn into the back straight and lost further ground.

8 Roman Siren – Hampered entering the front straight.

Race 4 - EAST END HOTEL FFA 550m

2 Flying Jet – Best to begin.

8 Inciter – Hampered approaching the turn into the back straight. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight.

Race 5 - BARGARA BAKERY CAFE MA5 460m

1 Rippin' Bartel – Inconvenienced from behind by another runner in the back straight and lost considerable ground.

3 Doreas – Best to begin.

4 Big Man Rusty – Tightened for room, checked and lost ground leaving the first turn. Checked entering the front straight.

5 Branwell Lee – Improved onto another runner in the back straight and was checked. Checked entering the front straight.

8 Cambla Cruiser – Raced wide in the back straight.

Race 6 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 460m

The start of the event was delayed by approximately 3 minutes as PROMPT became loose from the handler at the starting boxes and travelled a small distance from the boxes before subsequently passing a veterinary examination prior to being allowed to compete. ROULETTE, BLUE AIN’T BLACK and RUM AND RUBY’S which were all engaged in the starting boxes at this point also passed a veterinary examination after being removed from the boxes.

1 Roulette – Best to begin. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

2 Farmor Watch All – Tightened for room, checked and lost ground entering the turn into the back straight. Checked and lost further ground leaving the turn out of the back straight.

3 Blue Ain't Black – Checked and lost ground entering the turn into the back straight. Checked off heels and raced extremely wide through the turn into the front straight. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

6 Prompt - Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

7 Rum An' Ruby's - Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

8 Deep Emotion – Raced wide through the turn into the back straight and continued to race wide for the remainder of the event.

Race 7 - SKY RACING 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 460m

2 Louisiana Flyer – Checked and lost ground entering the first turn. Contacted from behind by another runner leaving the turn out of the back straight and lost significant ground. Checked approaching the turn into the front straight.

6 Beltline – Checked entering the first turn and lost considerable ground.

8 Here Comes Pappa – Slow to begin. Checked off heels leaving the turn out of the back straight. Checked approaching the turn into the front straight.

Race 8 - CRAFT RENTAL 0-4 WINS 550m

1 Andover – Bumped with another runner on multiple occasions through the turn into the front straight.

2 Dancing Ebby – Checked immediately after the start. Bumped on a number of occasions entering the first turn and lost ground.

3 Hara's Bacon – Checked immediately after the start. Bumped on a number of occasions entering the first turn and lost ground. Checked and raced wide through the first turn. Checked off heels in the back straight and lost considerable ground.

6 Go Emmy Go – Bumped with another runner on multiple occasions through the turn into the front straight.

7 Hollywood Donuts – Hampered entering the first turn.

Race 9 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 460m

1 Purdi Villa – Tightened for room and checked approaching the first turn. Checked off heels and lost considerable ground entering the first turn. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight.

2 Magnolia Wind – Checked entering the first turn. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight.

3 Farmor Fabio – Checked on a number of occasions entering the first turn and lost ground.

4 Cambla Samba Kid – Checked entering the first turn. Inconvenienced by another runner entering the back straight and lost significant ground.

6 Nerve Settler – Checked entering the first turn. Improved onto another runner entering the back straight and lost considerable ground. Checked with another runner on multiple occasions entering the front straight and lost significant ground.

8 Naveed – Collided into another runner entering the front straight, then checked with that runner on multiple occasions and lost significant ground.

Race 10 - TAB 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 460m

2 Soda Caesar – Checked entering the turn into the front straight and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities.

4 Fabio Flash – Marginally slow to begin. Hampered then checked off heels approaching the turn out of the back straight. Checked entering the turn into the front straight.

6 Fast Chloe – Checked entering the turn into the front straight and lost ground.

7 Mini's Girl – Bumped with another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

8 Fizz Out – Best to begin. Raced wide through the turn into the front straight.
