Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 460m

 

3 Apache Bear – Checked entering the turn off the front straight, then shifted wider and checked another runner.

 

4 Diary – Checked entering the turn off the front straight. Momentarily deviated its attention to the runner on its outside but didn’t make muzzle contact approaching the exit onto the back straight. In the front straight deviated its attention again to another runner on the outside with no muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist sprain and stood down from racing for 28 days. Stewards also charged the greyhound with fail to pursue 1st offence injury GAR 69B(1)(a) and will need to perform a satisfactory stewards trial.

 

8 White Bull – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 2 - ACE FABRICATIONS NOVICE 460m

 

2 Wilby Royalty – Checked off the heels of another runner entering the turn off the back straight.

 

3 Sienna Sunrise – Slow to begin. Checked off the hind quarters, shifted wider and checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

4 Mia Moo Moo – Bumped shortly after the start. Shifted awkwardly and checked approaching the turn off the front straight. A veterinary examination revealed an offside hind thigh muscle strain and stood down for 10 days.

 

5 Pookie – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

6 Relax Max – Checked shortly after the start.

 

7 Hotshot Bear – Checked shortly after the start.

 

8 Fluro Man – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 3 - EAST END HOTEL GRADE 5 (1) 460m

 

2 Hidden Ripple – Bumped shortly after the start.

 

3 Unique Maurice – Bumped shortly after the start.

 

4 I'm The Bill – Bumped shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room and checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

5 He's Nosey – Tightened for racing room, checked, and disadvantaged approaching the turn off the front straight. A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

 

Race 4 - BARGARA BAKERY MIXED 4/5 460m

 

Stewards ordered the race to finish on lure due to an injured greyhound pulling up in the back straight.

 

1 Hoot Hoot Go – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked entering the turn off the front straight and was visibly sore, favouring the offside hind leg. Approaching the exit onto the back straight lost considerable ground before stopping in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind tarsal fracture, the greyhound was given pain relief and applied a splint, before being transported to an independent veterinarian for further treatment and stood down from racing for 42 days and will need to perform a veterinary clearance trial. This will be referred to the racing injury review panel.

3 She's Just Magic – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 5 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION MIXED 4/5 550m

 

2 Ragin' Comet – Bumped entering the turn off the front straight.

 

5 Bad And Boujee – Bumped shortly after the start.

 

7 Easy Eddie – Bumped shortly after the start.

 

8 Little Ripper– Bumped shortly after the start.

 

 

Race 6 - BUNDABERG YOUNG GUNS HEAT 1 OPEN 550m

 

1 Militant Cloud – Bumped approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

4 Durham – Checked heavily shortly after the start. A veterinary examination found an offside hind dislocated toe and stood down for 28 days and will need to perform a veterinary clearance trial.

 

5 Not Alone – Checked shortly after the start. Bumped and shifted wider and checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

7 Boston Sox – Tightened for racing room and checked shortly after the start. Checked and forced wider and disadvantaged approaching the turn off the front straight.

 

8 Slick Velvet – Tightened for racing room and checked shortly after the start.

 

 

Race 7 - BUNDABERG YOUNG GUNS HEAT 2 OPEN 550m

 

2 Jericho – Tightened for racing room and bumped shortly after the start.

 

3 I'm Shy Boy – Disadvantaged shortly after the start. Shifted wider entering the turn off the front straight.

 

4 Louder – Tightened for racing room and bumped shortly after the start.

 

7 Queen Norma – Shifted very wide entering the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 8 - TERRY SIGNS BEST 8 460m

 

1 Off Break – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room, bumped, and disadvantaged approaching the exit onto the back straight.

 

2 Not Scared – Tightened for racing room and bumped approaching the exit onto the back straight.

 

7 Roulette – Tightened for racing room and bumped approaching the exit onto the back straight.

 

 

Race 9 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS GRADE 5 (2) 460m

 

3 Tiffany Twisted – Slow to begin. Bumped to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

 

6 Dancing Ebby -  Bumped to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight. Shifted wider and lost its footing and fell exiting the turn onto the front straight. A veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist sprain and stood down for 10 days.

 

7 Sassy Elle - Bumped to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

 

8 Jet Burner - Bumped to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

 

 

Race 10 - SKY RACING MA5 460m

 

2 Tony's Rescue – Shifted wider in the front straight.

 

3 Highway Gem – Bumped approaching the turn off the front straight. Checked approaching the exit onto the back straight.

 

6 Won't Win Larson – Slow to begin.

 

7 Really Royal – Bumped approaching the turn off the front straight.
