General:

· Chris Riordan spoke with stewards regarding the runner Buck The Bull from race 10 in Bundaberg on Monday 04/04/2022, Mr Riordan advised stewards that the greyhound pulled up sore the following day and was taken to a veterinary clinic for further assessment and an offside hock injury was discovered, the greyhound underwent surgery snd is recovering well.

· Race 4 was ordered by stewards to finish on the lure due to a fallen runner pulling up in the back straight.

· Race 5 due to damage to the outside fence from a fallen runner in the previous race the remainder of the races were put back by one slot to allow for fence repairs

Race 1 - BUNDABERG MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 1 MAIDEN 460m

1 Here Comes Rita – Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked off the hind quarters of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight.

2 Apache Bear – Slow to begin. Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees approaching the turn off the front straight.

3 One Rose – Checked shortly after the start.  Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked and lost footing almost falling entering the turn off the front straight.  Checked heavily onto the hind quarters of another runner approaching the exit onto the front straight.  A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

4 Dipsy Girl – Checked shortly after the start.

5 Rifle Man – Checked shortly after the start.

6 Thunder Dome – Shifted immediately towards the running rail and collided with other greyhounds shortly after the start.  Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees approaching the turn off the front straight.

7 Dance Club – Checked heavily on the hind quarters rounding the turn off the back straight and lost ground exiting the turn onto the front straight, a veterinary examination revealed neck & shoulder strains and stood down for 5 days.

Race 2 - BUNDABERG MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 2 MAIDEN 460m

2 Imploding – Checked in the back straight.

3 Soft Steel – Checked entering the turn off the back straight.

4 Wildash Ruby – Checked in the back straight.

5 Diva Redeemer – Slow to begin.  Checked entering the turn off the back straight.

6 Haulage – Checked on hind quarters, losing ground in the back straight. A veterinary examination found an offside wrist sprain & sub lumbar muscle strain and stood down for 7 days.

Race 3 - SKY RACING NOVICE (1) 460m

1 Weaver's Cut – Tightened for racing room and bumped with other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

2 Judy Moo Moo – Tightened for racing room and bumped with other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

3 He's Got Gossip – Tightened for racing room and bumped with other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

4 Wilby Royalty – Tightened for racing room and bumped with other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

6 Federal Ruby – Slow to begin.

7 Boom One Down – Tightened for racing room and bumped with other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

8 Begger – Bumped rounding the turn off the front straight.  Checked off the hind of another runner and disadvantaged in the back straight and rounding the turn off the back straight.  A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

9 (5) Relax Max – Tightened for racing room and bumped with other runners to varying degrees entering the turn off the front straight.

Race 4 - EAST END HOTEL NOVICE (2) 460m

· Following a fallen runner stopping on the track stewards ordered the race to finish on the lure.

1 Ky's Dream – Exiting the turn onto the back straight lost footing and collided with another runner on the outside, fell and collided with the outside fence.  A veterinary examination found offside hind leg bruising and stood down for 7 days.

3 Macey's Star – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

5 Chase Me Candy – Slow to begin.

6 Militant Cloud – Bumped approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

7 Six Schooners – Bumped approaching the turn off the front straight.

9 (4) Mia Moo Moo – Checked and dragged down by falling runner exiting the turn onto the back straight.  A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Race 5 - BARGARA BAKERY GRADE 5 (1) 460m

· Following an incident in the previous race, the outside fence of the track needed repairs and to allow for the time required to repair the fence the remainder of the races were put back by one.

2 Suite Nita – Shifted wider exiting the turn onto the front straight.

3 Tennessee Betty – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked in the back straight.

4 Derrillean – Checked shortly after the start. Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked in the back straight.

6 Hope's Golden – Slow to begin.

Race 6 - ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION MIXED 3/4 460m

1 Koolboo Supreme – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

2 Mumma's Machine – Checked and forced wider then checked runner on the outside entering the turn off the front straight.

5 Rebel Return – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

6 Stand By Me – Checked shortly after the start.

7 Dying Bryan – Checked shortly after the start.

8 Ready To Rubble– Checked shortly after the start.

Race 7 - EASTER CUP HEAT 1 OPEN 460m

2 Cambla Gem – Checked and lost footing exiting the turn onto the back straight. shifted wider and shortened stride and was visibly injured in the back straight.  A veterinary examination revealed a facet joint injury and stood down for 21 days.

3 Easy Eddie – Checked exiting the turn onto the back straight.

Race 8 - EASTER CUP HEAT 2 OPEN 460m

3 Slick Mac – Checked and shifted wider rounding the turn off the front straight.

7 Cambla Doll – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

8 Little Ripper – Checked entering the turn off the front straight.

Race 9 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS GRADE 5 (2) 460m

5 Tiffany Twisted – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight. Bumped rounding the turn off the front straight.

7 Jet's Image – Slow to begin.  Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.  Bumped rounding the turn off the front straight.

Race 10 - TERRY SIGNS MA5 460m

2 Beers With Geoff – Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight.

3 Johnny Dark – Slow to begin.

4 Silent Talk – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

5 All Aces – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.

6 She's Hot Gossip – Slow to begin.

7 Really Royal – Checked approaching the turn off the front straight.  Checked on the heels rounding the turn off the back straight.
