Race 1 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN (1) 460m

1 Burrum Assassin – Checked shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees around the first turn. Hampered by another around the second turn. Marred by another runner in the front straight.

2 Lulu Bar Cool – Checked shortly after the start. Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees around the first turn.

3 Cardi Rocks – Checked and knocked off balance shortly after the start. around the first turn deviated its attention towards a runner on its outside. In the back straight deviated its attention towards the runner on its outside. Around the second turn deviated its attention towards a runner on the inside.  Entering the home straight shifted in marring the runner to its inside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed scratching and a puncture wound and stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Louise Cameron regarding the greyhound’s racing manners during the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Cardi Rocks did make head contact with the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Cardi Rocks was suspended from racing at Bundaberg for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4 Penny And Clyde - Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees around the first turn. Hampered by another runner around the first turn.

5 Lucky Clover - Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees around the first turn. Checked and disadvantaged in the back straight.

6 Hot Blaster - Tightened for racing room and bumped other runners to varying degrees around the first turn.

7 Key Status – Slow to begin.

8 Craig's Cruisin' – Hampered by another runner in the back straight.

Race 2 - WALKER ST WHOLESALE BAKERY MAIDEN (2) 460m

1 Latrell Bar Cool – Checked entering the first turn.

2 Where's Eddie – Checked shortly after the start.

3 Trinity My Mum – Checked shortly after the start.

4 Wicked Gem – Checked entering the first turn.

6 Turbo Blaster – Slipped exiting the boxes. Checked shortly after the start. Shifted wider awkwardly nearing the first turn. Slightly changed stride nearing the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to Peter O’Reilly regarding the racing manners of Turbo Blaster nearing the second turn. After hearing evidence from Mr O’Reilly, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning for an unsatisfactory performance GAR129 was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners

7 Burrum Brutus – Checked shortly after the start. Deviated its attention from the lure and turned its head towards the runner on the outside in the front straight but did not make muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer representative Ricky Hassal regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Hassal, stewards deemed Burrum Brutus had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule it was suspended from racing at Bundaberg  for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial

8 Gunyah Mate – Checked and disadvantaged entering the first turn. had given ground exiting the turn onto the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to the trainer Darryl Raines regarding In accordance with GAR 122 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Raines to report as Shortly as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Gunyah Mate in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Race 3 - KALKI MOON NOVICE 460m

2 Off Beat – Checked and shifted wider entering the first turn. And raced wider for the remainder of the race.

3 Starlight Nelly – Shifted wider in the front straight.

4 Bomber Bar Cool -Slow to begin. Checked becoming unbalanced shortly after the start.

5 Evil Evee – Checked shortly after the start. Checked in the back straight.

7 Smart And Classy – Bumped shortly after the start.

8 Voldemont – Bumped shortly after the start.

Race 4 – TAB GRADE 5 (1) 460m

1 Capacitor – Tightened for racing room and bumped shortly after the start.

3 Summer Cash – Tightened for racing room and bumped shortly after the start.

5 Alpha Humbug – Tightened for racing room and bumped shortly after the start. Checked around the first turn.

8 Step Up – Checked around the first turn.

Race 5 – SUPERTECH GRADE 5 531m

2 Zambora Chief – Shifted wider and checked shortly after the start.

3 Blue Rex – Checked shortly after the start. Bumped entering the first turn.

6 Burned – Bumped entering the first turn.

7 Kasey's Money – Slow to begin.

Race 6 - BUNDABERG WILDCARD HEAT 1 OPEN 531m

1 Yo Yo Lad – Tightened for racing room and bumped around the first turn.

2 Off Break – Checked nearing the first turn.

3 Dodgy Mick – Checked off the heels of another runner entering the first turn.

7 Canent Percy – Slow to begin. Shifted very wide entering the first turn.

8 Katara Love – Checked nearing the first turn.

Race 7 - BUNDABERG WILDCARD HEAT 2 OPEN 531m

2 Leo Gibbs – Bumped shortly after the start.

3 Social Impact – Shifted wider and lost considerable ground entering the first turn and continued to give ground for remainder of race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside front triceps strain and stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to David Raines the trainer of Social Impact regarding its performance. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 129, Social impact must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

6 Koolboo Supreme – Slow to begin.

7 Doctor Rossi – Shortened stride and lost considerable ground exiting the turn onto the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind leg injury and stood down for 42 days and will perform a veterinary clearance trial before returning to racing. This will be referred to the racing injury review panel.

Race 8 - BUNDABERG WILDCARD HEAT 3 OPEN 531m

2 Kotiro Koura – Shortened stride and lost considerable ground before pulling up around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hind leg injury and stood down for 42 days and will need to perform a veterinary clearance trial before returning to racing. This will be referred to the racing injury review panel.

3 Midnight Cambla – Checked nearing the first turn.

4 Bro's Girl – Checked and forced wider nearing the first turn.

6 Queen Norma – Collided with another runner and fell heavily before regaining its footing and completed the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside bruising and stood down for 10 days.

7 Mount Cambla – Checked with fallen runner.

8 Miss San Cisco – Checked heavily with fallen runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 9 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS GRADE 5 (2) 460m

· Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track around the first turn and exiting the turn onto the back straight. and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

3 Wild Oates – Slow to begin.

4 White Bull – Checked and disadvantaged around the first turn. Shifted wider around the second turn.

6 Blue Bathers – Checked on the heels and lost ground exiting the turn onto the front straight. A veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury and stood down for 10 days.

7 Chase Me Candy – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner exiting the turn onto the front straight.

Race 10 - SKY RACING MA5 460m

1 Benissimo – Tightened for racing room and checked nearing the first turn.

2 Sir Diamond – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner around the second turn and shortened stride and gave considerable ground in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a torn offside back muscle and stood down for 42 days and will need to perform a veterinary clearance trial before returning to racing.

3 Really Royal – Tightened for racing room and checked nearing the first turn.

4 Louisiana Flyer – Tightened for racing room and checked nearing the first turn.

5 Kayak – Tightened for racing room and checked nearing the first turn. Checked around the second turn.

6 Sassy Elle – Slow to begin. Bumped around the second turn.

7 Ragin' Comet – Slow to begin.

8 Fluro Girl – Shifted wider and bumped other runners around the second turn. raced wider in the front straight.
