Race 1 - BUNDABERG MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 1 MAIDEN 460m

 

3 Mister Bar Cool – Checked shortly after the start. Lost considerable ground in the back straight. A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities, stewards spoke with trainer Kylie Raines and charged the greyhound with an Unsatisfactory performance GAR 129(a) and must perform a stewards trial before returning to racing.

 

4 Stomp – Checked shortly after the start. Checked off the heels entering the first turn.

 

6 Rattle The Cage – Shifted wider in the back straight.

 

7 Clever Cambla – Slow to begin. Deviated attention from the lure towards runners on the outside but did not make muzzle contact in the back straight. Checked off the heels nearing the second turn. A veterinary examination revealed neck muscle strain and stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke with trainer representative Stephen Bland regarding the greyhounds manners in the back straight and charged the greyhound with Failing to pursue 1st offence GAR 124 and stood down for 28 days Bundaberg and perform a stewards trial.

 

8 Cardi Rocks – Deviated attention from the lure towards runner on the inside and made muzzle contact in the front straight. A veterinary examination revealed a back muscle strain and stood down for 14 days. Stewards spoke with trainer representative Stephen Bland regarding the greyhounds manners in the front straight and charged the greyhound with Marring 2nd offence GAR 123 and stood down for 28 days at all tracks and perform a stewards trial.

 

Race 2 - BUNDABERG MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 2 MAIDEN 460m

 

1 Brazen Bar Cool – began to give ground exiting the turn onto the back straight. and finished well back a veterinary examination revealed a wrist strain and stood down for 10 days. stewards spoke with trainer Kylie Raines and charged the greyhound with an Unsatisfactory performance GAR 129(a) and must perform a stewards trial before returning to racing.

 

4 Showgirl Kara – Checked entering the first turn, dragged down and lost balance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a neck muscle strain and stood down for 10 days.

 

5 Whacker Wilson – Checked nearing the first turn.

 

6 Botticelli – Checked shortly after the start. Checked nearing the first turn. Checked entering the first turn.

 

8 Penny And Clyde – Checked shortly after the start.

 

 

 

 

Race 3 - GLOBAL TURF NOVICE 460m

 

3 Bye Bye Taipan – Bumped entering the first turn. Checked and lost front footing nearly falling in the back straight. Tightened for racing room and bumped in the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

5 Miss Sassy Girl – Slow to begin. Bumped entering the first turn.

 

7 Cambla Clown – Tightened for racing room and bumped in the front straight.

 

Race 4 - CRAFT RENTALS GRADE 5 (1) 460m

 

1 Yo Yo Lad – Shifted towards the running rail immediately after the start. Tightened for racing room and bumped in the front straight.

 

2 Clock Watcher – Tightened for racing room and bumped in the front straight.

 

4 Buttercup Babe – Bumped entering the first turn.

 

7 Best Mate – Bumped entering the first turn.

 

Race 5 - SUPERTECH ELECTRONICS MIXED 4/5 460m

 

1 Daysea's Unique – Slow to begin.

 

2 Roger Ring – Checked entering the first turn.

 

3 Lucius Malfoy – Checked off the heels around the second turn.

 

5 Just Another Mac – Slow to begin. Checked entering the first turn. Raced very wide in the front straight.

 

Race 6 - BARRINGTON'S ENTERPRISE GRADE 5 531m

 

1 Double Tiara – Disadvantaged in the front straight on the first occasion.

 

2 Koolboo Supreme – Bumped in the front straight.

 

3 Zambora Chief – Checked off the heels of another runner and disadvantaged entering the first turn.

 

9 White Whale – Bumped in the front straight.

 

Race 7 - EASTER CUP HEAT 1 OPEN 460m

 

1 Alpha Humbug – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner and fell approaching the exit onto the back straight, before regaining footing and completing the event. A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

2 Mount Cambla – Checked around the first turn. Checked on hind and knocked off balance and took several awkward strides exiting the turn onto the back straight. A veterinary examination revealed a neck muscle strain and stood down for 5 days.

 

5 Springview Magic – Slow to begin. Checked around the first turn. Checked exiting the turn onto the back straight.

 

Race 8 - EASTER CUP HEAT 2 OPEN 460m

 

4 Cambla Doll – Checked shortly after the start.

 

5 Voldemont – Checked shortly after the start. Disadvantaged nearing the first turn. Checked around the first turn. Checked and lost footing around the second turn. Deviated its attention from the lure towards a runner on the outside approaching the exit of the second turn. A veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist and a back muscle strain and stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke with trainer Kye Lowecki regarding the greyhounds manners around the second turn and charged the greyhound with Failing to pursue - Injured GAR 125(a) and stood down for 10 days at Bundaberg and perform a stewards trial.

 

Race 9 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS GRADE 5 (2) 460m

 

1 Smart And Classy – Tightened for racing room entering the first turn.

 

2 Weaver's Cut – Tightened for racing room entering the first turn.

 

5 Calm Sea – Shifted wider in the front straight.

 

Race 10 - SHERRIFF ELECTRICAL MA5 460m

 

1 Benissimo – Checked entering the first turn.

 

2 Sassy Elle – Checked entering the first turn.

 

5 Really Royal – Checked and fell entering the first turn. Before regaining footing and completed the event A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

 

7 Spring Dani – Checked off the heels of another runner exiting the turn onto the back straight.

 

8 Public Servant – Lost ground in the front straight. The greyhound collapsed in the catching pen following the race. A veterinary examination revealed the greyhound was suffering from heat stress and was stood down for 5 days.
