Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 460m

 

1 Electric Cambla – Checked shortly after the start. Disadvantaged around the first turn.

 

2 Bear Blaster – Slow to begin. Checked shortly after the start. Checked off the heels around the first turn, losing ground. A veterinary examination revealed nearside shoulder bruising and stood down for 5 days.

 

3 Endless Dancing – Checked shortly after the start.

 

4 Cambla Tama – Deviated its attention immediately after the start towards the running rail and collided with runners on the inside. Deviated its attention from the lure towards a runners on the outside around the first turn. following a post-race veterinary examination was found to have offside wrist sprain and a back muscle strain. Stewards spoke to Stephen Bland regarding the greyhounds racing manners shortly after the start and around the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and was stood down for 14 days at Bundaberg track and perform a satisfactory trial.

 

 

5 Cambla Princess – Disadvantaged around the first turn.

 

6 Little Hercules – Slow to begin.

 

7 Burrum Assassin – Slow to begin.

 

8 Gracie Matilda – Off balance in the back straight.

 

 

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE 460m

 

1 Double Tara – Checked around the first turn. Checked and knocked off balance in the back straight. A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities

 

2 Evil Evee – Checked shortly after the start.

 

3 Trinity My Mum – Checked shortly after the start.

 

4 Oceania Blue – Checked shortly after the start. Checked around the first turn.

 

5 Cardi Rocks – Checked shortly after the start. Deviated attention from the lure towards another runner in the front straight but did not make muzzle contact. Stewards spoke to Stephen Bland regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the front straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. The greyhound was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bundaberg and must perform a Satisfactory stewards trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

 

7 Keep Tracking – Slow to begin.

 

8 She's So Crazy – Slow to begin. Checked around the first turn.

1 Bye Bye Taipan – Slow to begin. Checked around the second turn. Checked in the front straight.
