Race 1 - SKY RACING MAIDEN 315m

4. Move Over Honey - Late scratching at 10:35 am due to a weight variation pursuant to GAR 101(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Trainer Paul Kuzmanovic was fined $100.00 pursuant to GAR 101(3)(b).

8. Easy As That – Checked and knocked off balance and shifted wider and gave ground entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 2 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN 460m

1. Tiny Turnips – Checked shortly after the start. Gave ground on the first turn and in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed triceps muscle injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Narelle Mulcahy regarding the greyhound’s performance. Ms Mulcahy stated that the greyhound had been nominated for 315m events, and was put into a 460m race, and was its first start back after almost six months lay off. After considering all available evidence, Stewards issued a warning under GAR 129 Unsatisfactory performance.

Race 3 – GLOBAL TURF NOVICE 460m

Race 4 - CRAFT RENTALS NOVICE 315m

1. Blast Café – Checked shortly after the start. Checked entering the first turn. Checked entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside and nearside triceps muscle injuries, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

Race 5 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS GRADE 5 (1) 315m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 6 - RACE REVOLUTION GRADE 5 (1) 460m

4. Cambla Clown – Tightened for racing room, checked and fell on the first turn. before regaining balance and completed the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 7 - TOTAL GREENS TURF GRADE 5 (2) 460m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 8 - NEW YEARS TROPHY FINAL FFA 531m

8.Orson Trinity – Tightened for racing room and severely checked approaching the first turn. Faulted in its actions on the first turn. pulled up and took no further competitive part in the event in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside leg injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the racing injury review panel.

Race 9 - EAST END HOTEL MIXED 3/4 460m

1. Best Mate – Checked off the heels and gave ground on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed shoulder and triceps muscle injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

7. Dodgy Mick – Fell after the finish line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 10 - MUNN'S PLUMBING MIXED 3/4 315m

4. Sisu - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have pad abrasions. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
