General: · Stewards monitored the temperature both inside the kennel block & on the track throughout the course of the meeting and implemented various procedures in line with the QRIC heat policy. Including placing iced water containers at the catching pens, stewards tower (460m boxes) and in the wash down area.
· Following the hot temperatures & humidity levels stewards ordered that the greyhounds be kept for a minimum of 2 x races after their event to let the greyhounds recover in the air conditioning.

6. Ebony Bar Cool - Trainer George Clegg was fined $100.00 under the provisions of GAR 99 – No Catcher
