Race 1 - CRAFT RENTALS MAIDEN (1) 315m

 

·       Due to a fallen runner in the back straight regaining its footing but dazed began moving back towards the field, stewards ordered the event to finish on the lure.

 

5. Sunburnt Ridge – Checked off the hind quarters and lost footing and disadvantaged by falling runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

7. Move Over Honey – Tightened for racing room soon after the start and fell heavily before regaining footing and completed the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

8. Sunburnt Cortez – Checked from behind and dragged down and fell heavily taking no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 2 – UNCLE RUSTY’S PHOTOS MAIDEN (2) 315m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 3 - TAB 1-5 WINS 531m

 

6. Nitro Slim – Checked and collided with running rail entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

8. Cheeky Chan - Stewards spoke to trainer Paul Kuzmanovic regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Kuzmanovic stated that this was the first time they had started the dog over this distance, and that he may need some more fitness before nominating for this distance again. Stewards noted the explanation.

 

 

Race 4 - ISFAB MIXED 3/4 460m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 5 - SKY RACING NOVICE 315m

 

3. Monaco Diesel – Checked and dragged down from behind on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside wrist strain & a hip muscle strain. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

 

7. Ellie Herrera – Checked and became unbalanced on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 6 - WALKER ST WHOLESALE BAKERY NOVICE 460m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 7 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 460m

 

6. Evil Evee – Faulted in its actions in the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed triceps, deltoid and gracilise muscle injuries. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Thomas Lowe regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury – 14 days stand down at Bundaberg and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

 

Race 8 - TOTAL GREENS TURF 5PW 460m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 9 - GLOBAL TURF GRADE 5 (1) 315m

 

8.Summer Cash – Checked and fell on the first turn. Regained its footing and completed the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed back and hip muscle stains. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 10 - RACE REVOLUTION GRADE 5 (2) 315m

 

7. Blackpool Keanu – Stewards spoke with trainer Brendon Stevens after the greyhound proved difficult to box at the start of the race. Stewards advised Mr Stevens that they would monitor the greyhound on its future starts. And if continued to play up  they would deem it as hard to box for future events. GAR 106(2)

 

 

Race 11 - SHERRIFF ELECTRICAL MIXED 3/4 315m
